Dr. Tomasz Kowal

Dr. Kowal began his journey at York University, where he earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, followed by a Master of Science degree focused on Cardiovascular Rehabilitation. His passion for helping people move and feel their best led him to complete his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC).

While at CMCC, Dr. Kowal published his master’s thesis in a peer-reviewed academic journal, earning the A. Earl Homewood Memorial Award for his research excellence. He has since continued to expand his clinical expertise through certifications in Functional Integrated Acupuncture, advanced spinal and extremity adjustment courses, advanced management of vertigo and vestibular dysfunction, and various courses in functional movement assessment and training. With several years of experience as an Emergency First Responder he has also expanded his expertise to include treatment of sports injuries from beginner to professional athletes.

Dr. Kowal’s commitment to patient care extends beyond the clinic. As an intern, he travelled to rural communities in the Dominican Republic, providing chiropractic treatment to underserved populations — an experience that deepened his commitment to patient-centred care and reinforced his passion on the importance of accessible healthcare.

Raised in Toronto, Dr. Kowal has always maintained an active lifestyle, participating in volleyball, rugby, mountain biking, and competitive swimming. He has recently added golf and tennis to his list of activities and continues to practice the same active habits he encourages in his patients.

In practice, Dr. Kowal follows an evidence-based, diversified approach to care, developing individualized treatment plans that address each patient’s unique needs and goals. He believes that empowering patients through education and active participation is key to achieving long-term health and wellbeing.

Dr. Kowal offers a variety of treatment methods which include chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue techniques, ergonomic modifications, nutrition counselling, rehabilitation, custom orthotics, laser and acupuncture.
