Dr. Kyle Bendell
Dr. Kyle Bendell was born and raised in Uxbridge. Receiving regular chiropractic care from a young age enabled him to overcome sporting injuries and initiated an interest in health and physical performance.
Dr. Bendell attended the University of Windsor where he earned an Honours Bachelor of Human Kinetics degree (Hon BHK). While at University he played varsity volleyball and became a personal trainer. Dr. Bendell then attended Bangor University in Wales, UK and obtained a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology (MRes). He researched the effects of dehydration on physical performance and cardiac tissue. Performance testing triathletes and long-distance runners afforded Dr. Bendell an understanding of the functions and interaction of the systems in the body.
Dr. Bendell earned his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) from New York Chiropractic College where he completed advanced diplomas in Sport Science and Human Performance as well as Whole Food Nutrition graduating on the Dean’s list. While living in New York, Dr. Bendell volunteered his time as an NCAA Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS) at Hobart and William Smith College.
Dr. Bendell recently practiced in a well-established clinic in Belleville, Ontario. He was also a faculty member of the Fitness and Health Department of Loyalist College where he taught Human Anatomy, Exercise Physiology, Fitness Assessment and Chronic Disease. He has furthered his education completing courses in Medical Acupuncture, Functional Anatomy, Activator Method, Prague School of Athletic Development, Thompson Technique, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Graston technique and more.
Dr. Bendell is passionate about educating and empowering his patients to take an active role in their health. Having worked with children, families, geriatrics and professional athletes, he has developed a diverse skill set equipped to help patients preserve, maintain and improve the well-being and performance of their bodies. His belief is to treat the whole body by balancing and harmonizing the interdependent systems to achieve improved form and function.
In his leisure time Dr. Bendell enjoys working out at the gym, playing golf, hockey, volleyball and spending time at his family cottage.
Dr. Bendell is excited to return to his hometown and looks forward to serving the community.
